GitHub Copilot Fusion正式上线:跑分接近Claude Code,测试成本减半

According to Bijie.com, GitHub officially launched its multi-model orchestration system Copilot Fusion at the 2026 Universe Conference. The system can route simple tasks to appropriate models, while for complex tasks it can first let cheaper models attempt them and, if unsuccessful, switch to stronger models, or have different models cross-check each other. Tests by the independent evaluation agency Artificial Analysis show that Fusion Max achieved a comprehensive programming score of 60, close to Claude Code with Opus 5.5 Max at 62. Fusion Max costs an average of $5.59 in API usage per question and takes about 36 minutes, while Claude Code with Opus 5.5 Max requires $11.42 and about 60 minutes. Fusion reduces costs by about 51% and shortens time by about 40%. Although frequent model switching may cause cache losses, in this evaluation Fusion's cache hit rate reached 97%, compared with 95% for Claude Code. However, these results represent only a specific benchmark test and do not mean that all tasks in actual use can save half.
