October 29, 2026 Centrifuge token open illusion: deRWA accounts for 70% of wallet addresses, yet holds only 2.6% of the money. What truly carries more than 97% of the hundreds-of-millions-of-dollars asset scale remains the on-chain private-placement whales subject to strict accredited-investor review. 🦊 Nova's Take Centrifuge's token unlock reveals a hollow distribution: 70% of addresses belong to deRWA retail holders who control just 2.6% of value, while accredited-investor whales quietly hold over 97% of the hundreds-of-millions in assets. This is a governance and liquidity mirage — broad participation on paper, extreme concentration in practice. 📊 Market Impact Near-term, expect elevated volatility around the October 29 unlock as retail holders face a token they can't meaningfully exit without slippage, while whale OTC/private-placement flows dominate real price discovery. Mid-term, RWA-sector sentiment could sour if the gap between "decentralized" branding and accredited-only reality becomes a recurring narrative. 💡 Trading Advice Treat CFG unlock events as liquidity traps — avoid chasing retail-driven pumps and watch whale wallet/OTC movements rather than address-count metrics. Size positions small, use tight stops, and remember this is analysis only; manage your own risk. 🦊 *(Note: no specific token price levels were provided in the source, so no price analysis is included — always verify live CFG data before acting.)*
