MetaMask, Trezor, WalletConnect, and Other Industry Leaders Join ChangeNOW at TOKEN2049

[PRESS RELEASE – Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, October 28th, 2026] >ChangeNOW’s TOKEN2049 Singapore program featured four panel discussions with speakers from MetaMask, Trezor, WalletConnect, and other projects, a series of NOW Effect interviews, and a keynote by Chief Strategy Officer Pauline Shangett. In her Bit Digital Stage talk, “Next Billion Users Should Never Touch Blockchain,” Shangett argued that people should be able to use crypto without choosing networks, managing gas or navigating separate services. She presented crypto super apps as a way to bring everyday financial tasks into one product. At the ChangeNOW booth, The Block’s Kelvin Sparks moderated a wallet >panel with MetaMask, Trezor and ChangeNOW. Speakers discussed how wallets are expanding as more services move into a single interface, alongside security and user approval for AI agents. “The user shouldn’t have to think about gas. The user shouldn’t have to go through multiple steps to switch from one network to another, when a lot of that can be done in the background,” said Yana, Head of Business Development & Account Management at ChangeNOW. The >infrastructure session brought together Banxa, RocketX, WalletConnect and Aztec Labs to discuss transaction routing, privacy for on-chain payments and collaboration amongst specialized providers. A >panel on crypto super apps including Pulsar Money, Rubic, Hercules and CoinRoutes debated whether payments, trading or a broader variety of financial services would give consumers a reason to return regularly. Shangett identified payments as one potential foundation for these apps. The >fourth panel featured CoinEasy, The Block of Media and ChangeNOW. Speakers examined AI’s impact on search, SEO and audience monetization, discussing communities, podcasts and video, as well as opportunities to integrate crypto swaps into media and analytics platforms. Journalist Ramia Farrage hosted NOW Effect interviews with representatives of Stellar, Injective, NEAR Intents, USDD, Sonic and Zcash. The conversations covered cross-border payments, institutional participation in DeFi, stablecoins, privacy and blockchain usability.
